Maidenhead Farmers' Market

Our aim is to enable people to buy direct from local farmers, growers and dedicated small artisan producers in order to benefit from fresh quality food, honestly produced with a known provenance. We encourage high environmental and welfare standards of production which we believe are of key importance. Fruit and veg available in season only!

About the market

In September 2024 we celebrated the milestone of 25 years since our launch in 1999. We are proud to be the longest-running farmers' market in Berkshire having traded without a break despite adverse weather, food & mouth restrictions and pandemic lockdowns. You can depend on us and know that you're buying  from a genuine local own producer.

Meet our producers

All producers must have grown, reared, baked, caught, brewed or smoked the products themselves and sell direct to you, the customer.  Most are within 30 miles radius of the market but some are from further afield to ensure a good range of produce.  We support fair trade and imported products if a direct link to small farmers can be demonstrated.

Join us

We are always on the look-out for new producers especially if you have something different to bring to the market.  We would welcome hearing from specialist craft bakers and other artisan food and drink producers. Please refer to our rules to see if you will satisfy our criteria before applying. Or just get in touch if you have an idea you'd like to discuss with us first.

There is free on-site parking 

with entry from Broadway.
